ABOUT AUDREY
HER STORY
Audrey Hyams Romoff, was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. Growing up, she had what appeared to be an idyllic, privileged childhood. Her father was a doctor, she attended private school, excelled at ballet, and wore beautiful clothes. But behind the perfectly manicured façade, her family was haunted. Rachel, one of the youngest children to survive Auschwitz, was prone to depression, fits of anger and a desperate need to control her daughter. As Audrey navigated adolescence, the family home became a battlefield with all night screaming sessions, slamming doors, accusations, and tears.
Feeling trapped, Audrey moved to Toronto and earned a degree in English literature. She founded OverCat, a communications and influencer agency. She has consulted for numerous high-profile brands including Victoria’s Secret, Crate and Barrel, Longines and Estee Lauder, as well as working with A-List celebrities Jennifer Lawrence, Sarah Jessica Parker, Katy Perry, and Jennifer Lopez. Audrey was named a top Public Relations executive by Cosmetics Magazine, served as the Communications Chair for the Fashion Cares AIDS fundraiser, and sits on the George Brown College Fashion and Jewellery Advisory Committee.
She is married with two children and shares her home with two dogs and two cats.
She is currently writing a memoir.
